Tired of those long winter days?

For many, winter is a time to hide indoors – away from the snow and the cold. We see things a little differently. Winter is the beginning of an exciting new driving season, filled with new challenges, new skills to learn, and new goals to achieve.

How about a trip that takes you to the extremes? And one located right in Canada? In the newest Porsche sports cars, and under the guidance of expert instructors from the Porsche Sport Driving School, you’ll drive on specially-prepared snow and ice tracks, learning skills that will not only keep you safe in the winter – but will help make it more exciting, too.

Camp4 Canada will be returning in 2016, with four- or five-day driving programs that whisk you away from everyday life for a few days in a winter wonderland.

We’ll make sure you are on the right track.

Mécaglisse, the Camp4 driving facility, has a number of exciting sections: two circuits, two large skidpads, and two challenging handling courses that demand your full attention. But the driving is just one part of a once-in-a-lifetime experience that also includes memorable meals, excellent accommodations, and the warmth and hospitality for which Porsche has become famous.

A winter drive event that takes you far away from your everyday life. In a Porsche, naturally. And under the expert guidance of instructors from the Porsche Sport Driving School.

The perfect passenger to have by your side. Enhance your training with a personal instructor.

They will show you how to improve your vehicle control skills, either next to you in the passenger seat, watching from trackside, or in a one-on-one discussion after a session.

All of our instructors are Porsche specialists with many years of experience. With their valuable knowledge, they can offer you advice and tips you’ll find useful in almost any driving scenario.

Training Content and Training Levels

Most people can’t wait to finish school. Here’s one you’ll be sad to leave.

Finally, a school you’ll want to attend, again and again. At Camp4 Canada you can gradually improve your driving style, step by step. As the graph shows, each level builds on knowledge gained from the previous level: Precision, Performance, and Master.

Just as with our racetrack programs on pavement, these training levels arm you with the appropriate skills as you progress up the Porsche Sport Driving School ladder.

At Camp4 Canada, we offer Precision (Camp4), Performance (Camp4S) and Masters (Camp4RS) levels of training. Once you have completed each program in Canada, you can progress on to further levels at Camp4 programs around the world.

If you have previously completed Camp4 Canada, or any other Precision-level Porsche Sport Driving School course, you are eligible for Camp4S. This four-night program features additional, more advanced driving exercises and higher speeds on the ice tracks at Mécaglisse.

What you will learn

When the snow falls, people usually head for the trails on two skis. Why not try four wheels instead? In a Porsche, of course. You can choose the Camp4, a Precision-level course, as an introduction to our snow-and-ice training curriculum – right here in Canada.

At Camp4, you’ll learn the basics of driving dynamics in difficult conditions. Over two days, you will drive three different varieties of Porsche sports cars on two road courses and on a massive skidpad, combining all three sections together into a challenging loop at the end of your second driving day.

If you have previously completed Camp4 Canada, or any other Precision-level Porsche Sport Driving School course, you can move up to Camp4S. The speeds are higher, the exercises are more challenging, and you will explore advanced techniques.
